My Vision's Getting Clearer

Hey. My name is Ciara and you may know me as ChanelLuvers043. I make beauty videos under the same username on Youtube. I created this blog a while back, hoping it would strike my inner writer in me and I would write a post ever day. It was also created to stay in touch with my friends and subscribers outside of Youtube. As you can tell I'm not very constant. I had high expectations for myself, I mean writing a blogpost everyday? Between school, track and well my life it's literally impossible. So I propose the idea of writing a blog post at least once a week. This would allow me to get what I need to get done and still keep in touch will you all. I'm taking this season of from soccer to focus on Youtube. It's not just all about Youtube, they're other things weighing on my decision to take a break. Because I'm going to have extra time on my hands, I'm really going to concentrate on Youtube. I've made it clear to myself that that is what I really want to do. So, Thank you for all your support. I love you all <3

Cleaning, Cleaning, All Day Long!

When I first wrote that title, I immediately thought of chewing chewing all day long!! Haha if you don't know what that is, it's lyrics from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! It was one of the Oopma Loopa's songs. Now, getting back to my cleaning story. I have been cleaning all day. No joke. My Aunt, Uncle and Cousin from Ireland tomorrow, so that's why everything need to be cleaning. They are staying here for a week and they have never been here before! So, I have been bombarded with chores to do. Mostly sweeping the floors and Windexing everything( windows, tv's, computers, e.t.c. ) My room is beautiful. My cousin is staying in my room with me on the extra mattress. Maybe I'll do a Room Tour since it's so clean, but I was kind of saving that for once I hit 1,000 subscribers, but that won't happen for a while. I need a manicure really bad now. Maybe me and my cousin could get mani's and pedi's before the forth of july. OMG I should do a nail tutorial for that. Well I need to go think of some ideas for that tutorial! Talk to you all later :)

This will be the death of me. I should be studying for my French and Math Final Exam, but no, I have chosen to write a blog and I'm also wasting time on facebook, twitter and youtube. I am halfway through my exams. Already have World History, English, and Biology. I thought English was going to be easy and Biology was going to be hard. It was the opposite. Bio was surprisingly easy. I mean it was easier than what I expected it to be, but English. Oh my goodness. We had the most confusing Read Composition questions ever, but the Romeo and Juliet and the Odyssey one's were some what easy. World History was average. Really Long. I almost didn't finish, but luckily I did :) So I written a decent amount so far. Think I should go and actually study? I think so. Maybe I'll color. Adios

MY NEW OBSESSION!

Alright, so recently I went to CVS with my mom. I needed to get some makeup remover wipes and my mom needed a new eyeliner or something, so while she was checking that out I just wandered off. I went into the spring/summer aisle and I came across these cups! So what they are is that, they are insulated cup with straws. It took me forever to figure out the name! I couldn't find the picture of my type of cup, but mine has big and small polka-dots that are lime green and turquoise. It's adorable. I got mine for $7.99, but I'm sure you'll be able to find one of these cups for $5.00 somewhere. Okay, so I thought I'd just let you all in on my new found love! I'm not very good at writing these blogs. There just really short, but hopefully to the point. Also, I think I might have like a quote of the day thing everyday. This will ensure me to come on here every day. Even if I don't write out a full blog at least I still be posting. AND I just got AMAZING NEWS, but I cant tell you until the whole things over. Alright? So, I totally forgot I had a blog and I just suddenly had the urge to make one. So, I typed in blog on google and www.blogger.com was the first thing that came up. So, (I feel like they're a lot of so's ) I clicked on the site and it brought me to my account. And I was like YAY! But I have no idea what my what my password. A trip to MAC

The other thing from MAc that I picked up was an eyeshadow called Electra. I am a fan of the frost line of MAC's because they serve a a great highlight for the eyes, but Electra is to dark to use as a highlight for my skin tone. Another great thing is that the colors are very pigmented, especially for the cream and off- white colors. They show up great on the lids, unlike other highlighting eyshadows frowm other brands that appear to be too sheer on the yes, yet overloading your lids with just TONS of glitter, but not color. Frost variants of MAC are the exact opposites of these.

I was basically trying my luck upon purchasing this and turns out that I was wrong after all. It was a lovely silver eyeshadow that can go from sheer to a dramatic silver color, depending on how much you apply on your lids.

Bonjour !

I went to my MAC counter on Saturday and here's what I got.

MAC uses a numbering system for their brushes, like a few other higher end companies do. Those with fewer brushes tend to use name, but MAC has a lot of brushes. The 100 series is for the face, 2oo for the eyes and 300 for the lips ( i believe), so out of those brushes I picked up the 217 eyeshadow brush. This brush is available worldwide. I found that this brush isn't really doopable. I got it for $22.50 with out tax. This brush is really good at applying eyeshadow into your crease. The rounded edge of the brush fits perfectly into me crease area. The bristles are soo soft. It's made out of goat hair thats white. Which is kind of a bad thing because it takes awhile to make it squeaky clean, but other than that I would really recommend it.
